LWV Manistee County Observer projectDemocracy is not a spectator sport! LWV was formed as a result of a long fight to secure one of the most basic rights that all americans should hold precious.
Manistee County League of Women Voters is looking for a few good people to train and act as part of the “Observer” Project.
All you have to do is agree to attend a regular or committee meeting of a Village, Township, County Commission, take notes and represent the public. You are requested not to take part in the meeting or discussions - just be a public representative.
