ANNUAL Meeting and dinner

Our 2026 Annual Meeting and Dinner will take place on Thursday, June 4, at 6:00 PM at the Portage Point Inn in Onekama.

This year’s featured presenters are Ed Ronco, Morning Edition host, and Peter Payette, Executive Director of Interlochen Public Radio. Through insight, storytelling, and a bit of humor, they will explore the changing landscape of journalism, why trustworthy news matters, and what these changes mean for our communities and our democracy.

At a time when misinformation spreads rapidly, and public confidence in media continues to be tested, this conversation offers an opportunity to reflect on the role of journalism in civic life and how individuals can better navigate today’s complex media environment.

Dinner will be provided by the Golden Stag of Manistee. The cost is $60 per person, with a cash bar available.
